Just to say hello

It has been a long time since I posted.  Plenty has happened during that time.  Promotion.  Moving. Death in the family. I have found that it is good to have the Lord's hand during the times one is struggling to understand why some things happen.  My Dad is having problems with his health and is waiting for a diagnosis.  We hope everything will be okay. They live so far away and now they are here on the continent the family is trying to spend as much time with them as possible before they return home.

The background is burnt orange cardstock.  The tags were cut using Paper Wishes tag template - chocolate cardstock and plaid paper. The dazzles and papers are also from Paper Wishes.

Glue the pumpkin dazzle to the orange paper then cut around the pumpkin part leaving the vines and leaves without backing.

Printed the "Happy Thanksgiving" from the Daisy Trail Thanksgiving digi kit and cut around.

Cards

Used cherry blossom stamp,
copic markers, Hot off the
Press dazzle, and
background papers.

I am totally excited today.  I received an order for my handmade cards (21) after setting up my on-line store a year ago.  I really enjoy this type papercrafting.  I think I like making a scene for children's cards more than any other type. Here are two examples:

Background is blue cardstock
and green paper, decorated
with stickers, birds in the sky
is hand drawn, chalked the
clouds, the green paper was
cut with a jagged edge craft
scissors.

Pulling my hair out

This week has been the worse I've ever experienced.  The computer was down on Monday and couln't complete the payroll, do the banking, you name it.  They fixed it on Tuesday, got the work done in time before it went down again.  Finally got it fixed yesterday.  Resident in my Personal Care Home flipped out and I couldn't calm him down.  Being a supervisor isn't all it crack up to be.  Looking forward to a weekend of crafting and sleeping.  Hope the creative juices will flow.
